A Truck Built From the Ground Up

Chevrolet is calling this the most powerful and advanced Silverado it has ever built, and the changes back that up. The exterior gets a bolder stance and a stronger, more expressive grille, along with signature LED headlamps and taillamps and dual exhaust styling. It still reads as a Chevy truck at a glance, just a more confident, more modern version of one.

Under the hood, buyers will have four engines to choose from. That lineup includes an upgraded TurboMax engine alongside next-generation 5.7L and 6.6L V8s, plus a Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel that Chevrolet says is exclusive to its class among half-ton gasoline and diesel pickups. Chevrolet has built V8 engines since 1955, and the new 5.7L and 6.6L units are described as reimagined from the ground up and assembled in the U.S., specifically Flint, Michigan and Tonawanda, New York, using domestic and globally sourced parts.

An Interior Built Around Bigger Screens and Smarter Tech

Step inside and the biggest change is how much screen real estate is packed into the cabin. Chevrolet says the redesigned Silverado offers more than 60 inches of combined available screens, anchored by a 16.3-inch center touchscreen the brand calls class-leading and a 12.2-inch reconfigurable Driver Information Center. A new available 11.5-inch front passenger screen rounds things out, giving the person riding shotgun their own connected display.

Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, including trailering support, will be available across more of the lineup than ever before. Chevrolet notes drivers have already logged more than a billion hands-free miles using Super Cruise, and it remains the only hands-free towing technology on the market. A panoramic sunroof will be standard on High Country and available on ZR2, Trail Boss, and Silverado trims, and a new available Multi-Flex Center Console folds flat into a usable workspace. OnStar Basics will come standard for eight years, covering core connectivity, remote commands, automatic crash response, in-vehicle apps, and voice assistance.

High Country Gets a Serious Upgrade

The redesigned High Country trim leans further into premium territory than before. It gets an exclusive grille with modern black badging and Tritan Satin accents, along with new 22-inch wheels found only on this trim. Inside, buyers will find real wood interior detailing and debossed head restraints and center console for an elevated look, plus an available microfiber suede interior package with Natural Tan edged seatbelts.

Built for the Trail, Not Just the Job Site

Off-road capability gets real attention with the ZR2 and Trail Boss trims. Both are built to take the Next-Generation Silverado well past pavement, and ZR2 in particular stands out with a 2-inch factory lift and ZR2-exclusive 35-inch MT tires for serious trail work.
